Electromechanical systems are increasingly central to todays world.This multidisciplinary field will only become more important in meeting the needs of our future society.Electromechanical engineers work on everything from energy generation and hybrid vehicles to aircraft design and satellite technology.Here at Edinburgh, we have particular specialisms in:carbon capturematerials science and engineering (including polymers and the mechanics of snow and ice)engineering at the interface with biology and medicine
