You'll gain a thorough grounding in writing for stage and screen, which will be complemented by opportunities to鈥痙evelop your skills in鈥痭on-dramatic writing, too.鈥痀our鈥痵tage and screen鈥痺riting鈥痺ill be鈥痠mproved by getting to grips with the ins-and-outs of theatrical performance, while you become better able to鈥痑nalyse鈥痙ramatic language by writing it yourself.鈥� At the heart of your BA Drama and Creative writing degree are鈥痵criptwriting masterclasses with practising writers,鈥痺here鈥痽oull鈥痙iscover the formats, conventions, and techniques of鈥痺riting鈥痜or different鈥� dramatic鈥痝enres鈥痑nd media. Youll learn by writing scenes and short scripts, offering critiques of each others work, and by working closely with other Drama鈥痵tudents.
