What is special about this course?

The Advanced Course Certificate offers you the opportunity to develop your confidence in all aspects of your Gaelic communication skills. It will provide you with a solid foundation for further study through the medium of Gaelic and will strengthen your chances of gaining employment in the Gaelic sector.

The course is delivered via online distance learning and is equivalent to the first year of the Gaelic and Allied Studies degree course. This course covers the grammar points covered in the Advanced Course and uses the same teaching and learning methods as the Advanced Course.

This course incorporates innovative language learning methods.

It will help you prepare for job opportunities in the Gaelic sector.

You will have the opportunity to attend an optional Weekend School, meet and talk to other students

You will study part-time and online, meaning you can undertake your studies in your own time.
